General Buffer Distance
Use the Buffer Distance drop down to select predefined buffers.
Advanced Dates and Times (if allowed)
For advanced buffer distance click 
Advanced from the Buffer Distance title bar.
Use the slider to set the buffer distance.
After setting the distance, check 'Use advanced buffer distance' to use this distance setting.
